NCAA D-II All-West Region: Zack Whiting
Chaminade point guard Zack Whiting was named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II West Region First Team, the only player from Hawaii to be selected.
On of 17 finalists for the 2007 Bob Cousy Award which honors the top point guard in the country (regardless of level), Whiting led the nation in assists and was second in the PacWest in scoring. On the season, he came a few rebounds short of averaging triple-double with 20.7 points, 10.8 assists and 7.2 rebounds while shooting an impressive 56.3% from the field and 49.0% from three-point range.
