Sebi and Thomas were amazing and I mean AMAZING!! Sebi can shoot like nobodies bissnuess!! Fairman can jump and works his butt off!! There name? Hoop Dreams Hawaii. This group of boys are an excellent team made up of 7 boys(Lanaki Apele, Shaun Kagawa, Brenton Shropshire, Sebastian "Sebi" Ohra-Saft, Thomas Fairman, Kaeo Alapai, Kekoa Turner). I have been informed there are more players on this team. I've done some research and this team only picks the top basketball players on the island of Hawaii. They play year round and they are a travel team.</p> <p> Hawaii Hoop Dreams won the Sharks tournament with an amazing game on Monday, May 30, 2011. Each of the players were amazing players with a heart and soul for basketball.</p> <p> Lanaki Apele is a fast, smooth basketball player who is going into his Seinor year at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii. With research I've done people call him a star player. I know this boy will go places further than what he dreams. To stay in shape Lanaki plays tennis.</p> <p> Shaun Kagawa is possibly the best guards in the state of Hawaii. He is fast, and like a "Brick Wall" said one of the players on a team they played. He is going into his Junior year at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii. Shaun also plays tennis. </p> <p> Brenton is 6'8" and an AMAZING player. He is going to be only a Junior at Kealakehe High School. I've been doing LOTS of research on this boy and it seems that high schools are fighting for him just to be on their basketball team. Brenton does basketball year round going to many camps and clinics just as much as the other players on the team. </p> <p> These are my 3 favorite players. The rest follow VERY close behind. Hawaii Hoop Dreams is coached by Randy Apele and Kalani Silva.
