So there's going to be yet another ABA franchise trying to make it's mark here in Hawaii.. Honolulu to be exact.. They're called the Honolulu Pegasus... The team is gonna be run, coached and organized by Leshaun Mcdaniels... He coached another ABA team and is supposed to have European backers that own four other teams already in the ABA... Seeing as the other two never got off the ground, what does the basketball community think of this one? And how important is it to have local (as in born in Hawaii) players on there and who would be available?

Seen these guys at the beach on thanksgiving... They looked big... Will they ever get on the court though?? That's the question.. Anybody else hear anything else about them yet?

Unless they get some locally-grown players on the team no one is gonna go and watch them. And Pegasus? It sounds worse than the Thunder

Well, here's a chance to see what they have... They play Saturday and Sunday at Manoa Rec... I heard the games are free... I'm not sure if they meant the entire season or just this weekend, but I know they said it's free... As far as locals, I heard they have a few... I heard Alika Smith, but I know that he's not in playing shape anymore so that can't be true... I definitely wanna see it... I mean, the ABA does have an exciting brand of basketball... They have that 3D rule, that I wanna see... Let's keep our fingers crossed... But I got the pot.. Who wants odds on wether or not they'll really play? LOL

Alika Smith? He mustve slimmed down a bit to play ball. last time i seen him he was helping out at UH basketball. He was huge! Nah but he can probably still ball though
