I really enjoyed the 1lb Laulau and Fried rice combo at Kuhio Grill. The biscuits (forget what they are called) that they grill are 'ono too!
The mixed plate at Don's was solid too. Branden Kawazoe hooked us up. Reservation for 20!
For breakfast one morning, we drove up to Waimea to eat at Hawaiian Style Cafe. Drove up to eat the smoked meat and eggs. Get there, they tell us, "We all out of smoked meat!"
My favorite place though, is Ken's. Favorite item is the oxtail stew.
I love Hilo.

I love Nori's, but didn't have time this trip.
We drove by cafe 100 but didn't go. Another family in our party went.
I normally go to the okazuya across kinda across from the courthouse but didnt go this time.
Didn't get to go to Verna's either.
Normally go to the Hilo Library to take a picture of me trying to lift the Naha Stone. My younger son loves it!
Didn't eat to many places cause the "Hilo Heavies" were grilling steaks and frying chicken every night!
