i think deion utera would have definitely made the team. he probably just declined the invitation, because of conflicts. he has a ton of upside if he can put it together.

Actually Deion was one of the top vote getters on the west side for the rising stars, but prior engagements didn't allow him to participate. Too bad because he is a really good talent.

@jonnyboy, are any of the players picked on jv??? Just wondering, I think they only picked kids that play on varsity...i could be wrong though...I know the east side is all players that played on vars...brew or someone else would know better though...

@JohnnyB~ Freshman and sophs who played on the varsity were selected play. No doubt that Aurello has talent, but that's how the teams were selected.

i think the only kid who played JV that is on the rising stars teams was Isaiah Meyer from honokaa. I'm not sure if they pulled him up at the end of the season though.
