WAY t0 G0 PAh0A........ChAMPS....
Ekau is a beast! I enjoy watching him play...but honestly, I think Andrade was more consistent "thoughout" the season.
Ekau peaked at the right time (states)! If i'm not mistaken, the voting goes towards the Season and maybe / possibly the BIIF playoffs but not the states.
But thats okay....MVP in the state DII tournament ain't to shabby if you ask me!!!!!!! and a champion at that!
@Luna86, I agree if they only look at the BIIF season, like they are supposed to.....But they probably won't and Ekau will probably take POY, even though Andrade had a much better BIIF season than Ekau...
@ bibbyboi,
That is definitely a possibility! (Ekau over Andrade)

Randen Barinobis (Hilo)
Daniel Brooks (Keaau)
Colby Cabatu (Kam)
Ita (Wai)
DII:
Koi (Ka'u)
Few more, don't know there names?
Yeh all good honorable mentions above just could'nt think of there names. More names will probably pop up later.
MY CHOICE!! I'm pretty sure that it's going to be a East side and West side BIIF Teams mixing DI and DII players.
East side:
Player of the Year: J. Andrade or I.Ekau or R. Handy
1st Team
R. Handy
I. Ekau
J. Andrade
C. Mattos
S. Wong (probably not happening - but I like this kid)
Coach of the Year: St. Joe or Pahoa
West Side:
Player of the Year: B. Bautista
1st Team
T. Naehu
K. Lorenzo
B. Bautista
J. Vallente
#30 HPA or Kealakehe Freshmen Guard
Coach of the Year: Too Hard between
Honokaa / Kealakehe / HPA
@Kalei, I Think The Voting Goes Only Towards The BIIF Season. With That In Mind I Don't Think Pahoa's Coach Should Be In The Talks Of Coach Of The Year. It Should Really Be Between Scanlan-Leite, Lee And Maybe Keamo.
Same With The West, COY Should Really Go To Fernandez Out At Kohala. They Went Undefeated During The Regular Season With Way Less Talent Than The Teams They Played(Besides Bautista Of Course).
@Uncontrolable: I think Ekau is worthy of POY for BIIF Season. Pahoa also beat DI teams as did Andrade and Co. too! Maybe we will have a tie! Both are deserving! I like Richie for DI though!
I Would Agree But Andrade Dropped 37 Or Something Close To That Against Pahoa, Ekau Didn't Do Much Against St. Joe's, St. Joe's Had The Best Record In The East And Beat Pahoa 3 Times All By More Than 12. The Games Weren't Really Close IMO.
There Are So Many People Who You Could Find A Few Points To Vote For POY, But Really Andrade Had The Best BIIF Year And So Did St. Joe's.
@Uncontrolable: U bring up good stats, we shall see how East side BIIF Coaches voted.
IMO: I like them both along with Richie. Good luck to ur boy!
Yeah I Like All Of Their Games, Just Richie, Andrade And Mattos All Had Better BIIF Years IMO.
