Im gonna have to go with Iolani. This is going to be a completely different game from the first two meetings. Iolani is coming off hot with a solid win over St.Louis and has a very large monkey on their shoulders. Punahou is coming off close games against Maryknoll and Kamehameha. Mounts is playing his best(25 against Kam and 28 against St.Louis), Crabb is getting less playing time and teams are cracking down on Punahous weaknesses. Iolani has great coaches and will make a few adjustments to make sure things will not come out the way they did at Punahou. Its all or nothing baby, dynasty versus destiny, the most heated rivalry in Hawaii sports. I can't wait!!

advertiser. way to be the first one to answer your own thread. haha. regarding the game, I'm gonna have to agree with you. iolani is looking really tough and mounts has really stepped his game up. he played one of his best games against st louis and if he continues his good play, iolani will have a good chance tomorrow. i hope iolani practiced their press break because beating that while staying under control, will be important tomorrow. they also have to take good shots and be patient on offense. warner should attack the bucket instead of pulling up for jumpers. I'm looking forward to a good game tomorrow. I can't wait!

We must have the same damn Brain ILHFan2...
Have I met you in person before?
It is important that everyone on the team realizes how important this game is for many reasons
1- its the frick'n ILH championship
2- what better than play it against your rival Punahou
3- they will have to play tough teams in states (probably Kam, Kalaheo, and Punahou [again])
4- The long line of Ilh championships broken last year
5- the beginning of a new era.

I think its gonna be a great game. the winner of the ilh has such a great advantage over the 2nd ilh seed in the state tournament because not only does the champ play one less game, they also arent on the same side as oia 1 and ilh 3. i cant wait!

Punahou by 8, and that is just because they have better coaching otherwise I would say Punahou by 15.

Punahou should win by at least 12. However Iolani looks like they are enjoying the game of basketball. The Punahou team is just getting by and they look like they are a last place team trying to win. Team chemistry for Punahou I rate a 6 1/2, Iolani I rate an 8. Dan Hale will lose the game by himself if he plays 7 deep. He needs to play the best players which he has failed to do lately. Iolani needs to stay out of the paint and take 5 to 6 foot shots, shoot 3's and get 50% of the rebounds. Iolani by 6 tonight.

good game last night! that would have been a shame for iolani if that turnover at the end cost them the game.

i didnt see you until late in the game when my wife pointed you out...but that's only because we were looking for somone else...who happened to be sitting close to you! i thought i felt the arena shaking...civil defense traced the epicenter to the ewa loges!!!
