    And give it up to kahuku way to give oia some rep but you know what the way moanalua left the court showed no class taking off their jerseys not congradulating the other team like they should I mean it is debatable on how that could of shown how much they wanted it but every team wanted just as bad as they did they should be proud from last year to this year big improvement just be thankful and not so much of cry babies

    Just got finished watching the game on tape. Wow, they really got hosed by a couple of key "non calls." Too bad. I like their coach and thought they played a heck of a game.

    Christensen is a winner. He reminds me of Shoji of a few years back for Iolani-- makes everyone around him better.

    Wow MOANALUA talks all that smack and maybe if they stayed off this site and really stayed focus just maybe they could have done something. No class in takeing off jerseys but guess thats how they do it in the mainland. Ive been watching that freshman and he plays great but as everyone has said on this site he talks to much sh!t on the court and the coaching staff should really fix that before it gets out of hand and someone makes him pay for his talking. Im not gonna lie but ever since they been talking sh!t ive been cheering against them. And im sure im not the only one. Thats just a fact and thats what I do I state facts. I just giving my two cents.
    @mrtirade
    My team was out so I enjoy watching you play but I cant see why u guys lost tonight and I want to know if you where tired or what? Please tell me what happened.

    GuessWho, again you guys are being real idots... have you ever competed for something, have you ever played in anything of this magnitude, that freshman that you are talking about is a competitor he plays with heart and courage, do you know anything about that???? probally not,the players from Moanalau got shafted tonight in the worst way two no calls from the refs in the final seconds one in regulation when Keene was fouled attempting game winner and two when reese was fouled going to the basket in the final OT, those kids have heart and if you knew basketball and what competing really is you would just shut up and enjoy a good group of kids having fun.... they might have been wrong to talk alittle trash but what kid don't.. that freshman will get his state title you will see.. i will tip my hat to the warrior kids though i have watched them play 4 times this season and they play hard every minutes so congrats to them.. as for you saying the coaching staff needs to muzzle him, again big idot sign should be placed on your forehead...

    Guess who I agree with everything you say and state facts I've heard that alot this year lol but nah I wasn't tired I was in foul trouble since the begining of the second quarter and those kids from Maui man they play rough hate to admit it but it kinda got to me so I went out of my style and was focusing on retaliating rather than winning but what happens happens and thanks I play the way I play if only for respect and of course college

    Mainland, I agree Moanalua did get hosed on non calls in both of the situations you mentioned. For all the talk about "smack talk," I hate to see Moanalua out of the tournament; they play hard and are fun to watch.

    I wonder if Kamehameha will try to out-physical Punahou tonight?

    congradulations to both teams its a shame a team had to lose. to all the moanalua haters shame on you those kids left nothing in the tank, tacon and his staff showed alot a class, the players are just kids and keene is just a freshman im sure he makes mistakes but so what he is a competitor, its attitudes like these shown on this site that makes it impossiable for transfers in to hawaii, it seems like some hate on them. sad. christinsen looked like the biggest cry baby out there, tang shows alot of class.

    First off great game to both teams. They both played hard. BUT, must we look at all the no calls, miscalls that were made against Moanalua. The travels? I swear Kamehameha players ran from the hill to make those layups and none were called. Focus in on the elbows, I swear the game was turning into a UFC match. Excuse my exaggeration, but this game was JUICE. To "mrtirade", must you learn what no class is? No class would simply be walking off the court without shaking hands. But Tacon has taught them much better. And after a defeat, they managed to hold their heads up and shake the other team's hands. Mind you that players on Moanalua are friends with players from Kamehameha and in no way would those boys disrespect their friends. I'm sure you yourself share the same principles of friendship when it comes to your "boys". And as for crying? I'm sure your gf, if you have one, could make you cry for a more stupid reason than playing hard on the court. Any team, who has come that far would cry and coming so close, but falling short because of shitty ass calls. If anything, the real cry babies are those that went crying to the refs on all their calls, hmmm I wonder what team those players were from???? As for "Guesswho" the actions of one teammate does not reflect the whole team. Keene is not part of a one man team, so what he does has no direct reflection of the team. And for your own information, not that you need to know, none of the Moanalua boys are allowed to be on this anyway. If Keene is/was on here, that's him talking and once again not a direct reflection of the whole team, so stop making assumptions, you know what that does.

    No I am not one of the players, so don't make any assumptions. I am a fan of Kamehameha. And they kicked ass last season. This game, they played hard. But Moanalua played a great season this year too and went into the state tournament as the #2 seed. With a rough road map ahead, they would be the only OIA team playing straight ILH teams if they won. They left their hearts out there on the court with no disrespect to Kamehameha. Their tears were limited to a season left with no state title. Nevertheless, they cried, but not like crybabies, especially to the ref. They left true champions. A true winner, in anyone's eyes who saw that their dreams were ripped away by terrible calls.

    @Obama, you’re right the Moanalua players are just kids but so are the players from Kamehameha. If you don’t like others bashing kids on this site then why are you saying- christinsen looked like the biggest cry baby out there? That’s your opinion which is fine but others have theirs too and for me I don’t think Micah looked like a crybaby last night. I think both teams played a great game, all the players played with heart and pride.

    point well taken i stand corrected let me just say that the kamehameha players looked to be in stronger disagreement with the officals last night. again congradulations to both teams, the pressure of the game may have brought out the players more "competitive" natures. sorry to micah didnt mean to single him out.

    @Obama, it’s all good. I’m neither a parent nor player of either team and enjoyed watching an awesome game between 2 great teams battling hard to the end and not giving up.

    Great game but a lesson of humility for Moanalua....The smack talking the walking into the gym with their hoods on....just brought attention to themselves and for Kamehameha...I think they were pumped up by it.

    Both teams played well and missed calls are always part of the game..just gotta deal with it and play on.

    Great programs reflect those with great win loss records, but also is reflected by how they keep their composure when they lose....looking at it from that point of view....Moanalua has a ways to go....and that's why Kamehameha is the defending state champs.

    Congrats to Kamehameha! They were the better team at the end of the night. No excuses should be made about no calls or the shoulda woulda couldas. Couldn't went either way in my own opinion. Moanalua should keep their head up high and finish the tournament strong and realize that only one team is going to win it all. Micah Cristensen POY hands down. His team would not have been where they are without him. He really impacts the game like no other I've seen in the last few years. My hat goes off to him and his team for the great victory over a great team.

    A great game between two great teams, but both teams seemed to be shooting pretty cold in this game. The break really seems to have killed Moanalua's winning streak, though they had plenty of opportunities to win this game. Still two games left for both teams today and tomorrow though.

    Hopefully Moanalua can get some more dunkers next season; na menes start vertical jump training!

    Guess you must be the freshmans dad or something cause I was just telling you facts on what I saw at the game and maybe you didnt see it because your a family member and you would ignior that because you are sad and mad at what has just happened for your son. Why cry about the refs when you should have never put yourselfs in that position because like you guys have been saying in past posts that the refs give you no calls cause of your "hair" or for what ever reson. And dad please your son is good but not good enuff to win it by himself so take it easy and wake up. So take the lose like a man or young man that you are and FYI yes I competed for something, and played in something of this magnitude. Have you?

    @beastly
    One action of one team member can still affect the whole team look so dont try and bail out your son out on the team. They sure all get on this site together like a team and talk smack and messed it up for the other team mates that didnt get on this site and talk smack.

    Everyone that gets on this site is a basketball player or a coach and you know who are parents just by what they say and talk about. Like I said thats just my two cents.

    Well, Guess Who, I'm not a parent or a coach. I like sports, especially basketball, and I think I was the one that started the "complaining" about the refs, if you want to go that far.

    Last night's game was terrific.

    Like I said, Christensen is a winner and makes everyone around him better.

    Tacon is a class act and has done wonders for the Moanalua program and those kids.

    The refs booted two obvious calls, both against Moanalua, and their egregious mistake really helped Kamehameha. I'm not saying it "cost" them the game, but it sure didn't help. If either one of those obvious fouls were called we're looking at a Moanalua-Punahou semi-final and the discussion on this board looks really different.
