Favorite Gyms To Play In

    Personlly, I liked the cozy feel of HBA's gym.

    As for watching games today, as much as I love Kekuhaupi'o Gym, I hate the parking situation. Iolani has good parking, air conditioning. Too cramped when they play Punahou and Iolani Classic. Punahou is alright, except for parking. Too crowded when they play Iolani. McCabe is alright, parking again. Mid-Pack is alright. Damien needs safer bleachers and parking. Poor lighting. Kalaheo is good. Moanalua is good. King Armory is terrible. Kapolei looks and feels like a mainland gym. Mililani is good. Kaiser, getting old. Cannon center is good...to far though!

    What do you guys think?

    Maybe Klum Gym will be back in action this upcoming season.

    I like really, really enjoy Kamehameha's gym for viewing games but parking can be hectic at times as well. Kalaheo's new look Pete Smith gym is so cool. Punahou is remodeling, that should be sweet. Iolani, airconditioned, say no more. Stan Sheriff is the bomb for viewing, such a beautiful venue!

    Punahou is a great gym to play in but the parking really sucks. Kamehameha is also a nice venue, but their parking situation is probably the worse in the ILH, maybe the state.

    Iolani's site is probably the best because of the parking and the location where its at. The gym is smaller than the other two mentioned above but it does make for a great atmosphere in big games.

    Those Punahou at Iolani games get so packed that they (Iolani) would open upper gym and play the game on the big screen to accommodate those that don't get into the game in lower gym. Both Iolani and Stan Sheriff have those bouncey rimms.

    For balling, I like the upstairs room at Femme Nu.

    For basketball, I like the Blaisdell.

    I like Punahou's Gym. We are the State Champions! It has a new floor and looks great!

    Has anyone else noticed that at Kaiser H.S. Gym they have alot of banners that say STATE RUNNER UP in thier rafters. I have never seen that before, anywhere!
