    Sad to hear that he passed away. He was a really nice guy and put so much time into the kids of the Big Island.

    RIP Coach Ham.

    He was not only a wonderful coach who mentored numerous children, but even a better person. He dedicated his life to the children of the Big Island, and he will always be remembered as a man who had a huge heart who cared for every player he coached. His players all loved him as a coach, a friend, and even a father figure.

    Thanks for all that you did for the kids and all the great memories!

    I never knew him, but the story is very sad. Anytime a life is lost, we should all mourn the loss. I heard he was a great individual.....
