Hawaiian Holiday Hoops Tournament

    Any top teams from Oahu playing in this tournament. I'll be bringing down a 10th grade team and a 11 y.o. team. Who are the teams from Oahu in these divisions that will be the favorites to win the tournament.

    When is this tournament? Who is in it? Where is the tournament? I have a couple of teams in Portland and Los Angeles. They are looking for a few exhibition games and a vacation to Hawaii.

    The tournament is put on by ARC hoops and I believe Honolulu Sharks is a part of it. The tournament is on June 19-21 on Oahu. There is about 3 or 4 teams coming up from the Big Island.

    ThePistol, my 10th grade travel team consist of players from schools around the Big Island. My 11 y.o. team is mainly made up of Kamehameha-Hawaii players and a couple of kids from Hilo and Waiakea.

    According to ARC, the Arizona Magic -- a historically very good AAU team is bringing up their U16 team. There's also a U16 team from Keaau that's signed up from off-island.

    ARC said there's going to be a mass mailing and e-mail out to the Oahu teams coming out next week.

    Does anyone know if Jordan Tanuvasa or any of these young prospects are going to be playing in the Hawaiian Holiday Hoops tournament. It would be fun for the kids from Hilo to see some of the best young players from around the State play. Also, if some of these players are going to be participating, for what teams will they be playing for?

    Does anyone know who won the 16u division between Honolulu Sharks and the Arizona Magic. The tournament was pretty good for the 16u and 12u division. I was impressed with the Kid from Lanakila, I believe his name was JP Sacon(???)from Farrington. Anybody watch the tournament, and if you did what did you think about it.
