Aloha.. I'm new to the site so I don't know if this forum has blogging ethics, if it does.. great... If not I think the following might help...
Forum Ethics
1. Refrain from using personal names, especially when comments are negative.
2. Refrain from all swear words including those you wouldn't use at the dinner table.
3. Refrain from making personal attacks.
4. Refrain from asking other bloggers to identify themself.
5. Dont use the blog to communicate non-topic information to one specific person (e.g., asking another blogger, "how's the food on maui?".
6. If you are answering a question or responding to a previous comment, direct your comments in a manner that everyone can benefit.
7. Add a new post no more than once a week.
8. If you disagree with a comment, stick to the facts of why you disagree, rather than making a personal attack.
9. Dont use the blog as a media outlet for personal gain (e.g., using vairous alias's to get the word out that your kid should be voted MVP).
10. Consider email ethics and standards, such as all CAPS communicates "yelling".
