Is there a set of rules for this forum or anything?

Most other forums i go on they have a set of rules posted somewhere detailing things you can and can't do...Just wondering if i missed it for this one...

I am asking because there seems to be too much hearsay and straight up bashing of certain players and coaches..A couple instances off the top of my head are people just straight up bashing Coach Dom..After a while people were no longer talking about his Coaching, but rather just personally attacking him...Another one is Manups personal attacks of most of St.Joe's team..Primarily Andrade though...He even started writing of how he would "sit Andrade's Dad's ass down."...Lastly, i remember a post of someone saying the boys from Kamehameha Kapalama weren't playing because of some sort of team policy violation...they were in possession of some illicit material or something..There was no proof what so ever of this....

Things like this should never be allowed...

I also am pretty sure there are numerous people with multiple accounts...It's just so irritating to have someone completely bash someone while saying they are from another island and seen them play once...stuff like that is unreasonable imo...

It's just a suggestion but i think that if you were to put a sticky of the bannable offenses it would clean this site up a lot....Whoever owns/runs/manages the site could also run ip checks every now and again to see if people are using alias'....

sorry for the long rant, but i think this will improve the site in the long run...

Something happened recently. I don't think this is the place to discuss it. Some kids made a bad decision, but so do all kids. Let them be....

My bad mrtirade, i wasn't trying to single you out or go after you or anything...Just those types of accusations shouldn't be posted unless you have actual, tangible evidence...Not trying to be a prick but hearsay should not be the standard here...just too much could go wrong and ruin the credibility of a kid....

    @ mrtirade

Before you spread any rumors, verify your story. You say to look at the box scores if we "wanna know the players thats gone". There's 2 or 3 players "thats gone" from the box scores, does that mean they are all a part of that incident you mentioned? I know for a fact that one of the guys that are "gone" from the box scores is out because of a season ending surgery, not what you claimed it to be. Be careful of the accusations you make, you don't want to smear someones name with false information.

    Forum Ethics
    1. Refrain from using personal names, especially when comments are negative.
    2. Refrain from all swear words including those you wouldn't use at the dinner table.
    3. Refrain from making personal attacks.
    4. Refrain from asking other bloggers to identify themself.
    5. If you are answering a question or responding to a previous comment, direct your comments in a manner that everyone can benefit.
    6. If you disagree with a comment, stick to the facts of why you disagree, rather than making a personal attack.
    7. Dont use the blog as a media outlet for personal gain (e.g., using vairous alias's to get the word out that your kid should be voted MVP).
    8. Consider email ethics and standards, such as all CAPS communicates "yelling".

    ....just a thought...

uhm yes he was involved in it but he did use the school laptop so he didnt get suspended just what i heard from the player and yes their was three of them one got kicked out of the school and two got suspended so i dnt need to be careful when i got someone that is from that school telling me this info. do you got to that school?do you go that school? do you have friends that go to this school? if so did you ask them about the incident? if all your answers are no then shut up. see we talk all bad about oia teams but when it comes to your guys precious ilh teams you guys get offensive just shut up i told you its what someone told me

@Mrtirade, while i don't doubt one of your friends goes there and told you this, other than that you have no real proof and stuff like that should not be posted unless there is some actual proof that we can all see...There is just too much at stake for these kids to allow things like that to get posted without any credible evidence...And no, what you heard from someone who goes to the school is not credible evidence...

@Mrtirade, no I don't go to that school, no I don't have a friend that goes to that school, but I do have a family member that's on the team that is giving me the info, so I don't need to shut up. There is some truth to what you're saying, but not all are involved. This has nothing to do with OIA v ILH. This has to do with ruining someones reputation with misinformation. Some of these kids are going to college on scholarships and if they have nothing to do with the incident they shouldn't be implicated. You're a senior, are you going to college next year? You stated in one of your post that you have changed from last year and your coach has taught you to control your emotions and to be a leader on your team. That's good that you made that change. You obviously didn't like it when someone brought up the incident about a fight that you started last year and how you haven't changed and that you're still a punk. That being said, watch what you say about other people.
