    Anyone know that score. I heard that Kailua won but they weren't sure if it was true or not.

    I heard that Kahuku won 64-62. Correct me if I am wrong on the score but I did hear that Kahuku won.

    @RV Coach~ caught your game via OC16. Amazing comeback. Both teams play well. Physical play to say the least but great sportsmanship displayed by both squads. Kailuas Center is a beast.

    Thanks. Yeah DeCorte is a beast. We are going to have to try and keep him out of the paint on Thursday. Tough when the the kid is that big. And he has a very good touch. Hopefully we can play the entire game like we did the 2nd half of the last game.

    Congrats to Waianae on a great season. Its too bad that all 3 of us couldn't go to state. I truly believe that all 3 of us are in the top 5-6 in the state in D2. Once again, great season!

    So Kailua did win. Coach, do you have any predictions on the seeds?

    On the seeds for what, state? Still got some games to be played. I don't really get into all that. It seems from what I have read and heard that everyone thinks that St. Josephs and the OIA winner will be 1-2, not sure which order though. I have only seen a few of the ILH teams play. AOP is very tall and University seems pretty athletic. I know that Seabury Hall returned a lot of their players and I thought that they were a very good team last year. Seems like they had about 7 kids that were the same. All could shoot it. I would guess that St. Josephs will probably get the #1 seed. But with no byes this year, it really doesn't matter. We all have to play the same amount of games. What about you. ANy predictions?

    I think Seabury Hall is the most intriguing...mostly because we know a lot about the other teams and almost nothing about them...I've seen them play early in the season and they looked pretty good...They are really tall...I'm a huge St. Joe's fan and i'm going to be honest, I'm hoping someone knocks Seabury off early before St. Joe's plays them...lol...Not that I don't think the other teams are as good but they are really tall and that is such a tough thing to match up with..They can go about 10 guys deep over 6ft..If i remember correctly...Maybe someone from Kohala or Kam-Hi can chime in on that...But I think the lack of tough competition may be their down fall...All the other teams have been battling day in and day out, they really haven't...

    I think Roosevelt and St. Joe's are the teams to beat...Haven't really seen Kailua so I'm not sure...Pahoa is definitely a threat...Not really sure about the rest...

    Kailua is big. They start 3 guys over 6 ft. And they have one of the fastest PG in the state. About 3-4 guys that can knock it down from 3pt range. Very tough team. Plus their post player is about 6'4" 260lbs. He is a beast.

    Thanks, Coach. Forgot that you still have to play on Thursday! Good luck! Great game the other night. I'd pick you as the favorite. Is the ILH pau yet?

    bibbiboi, Seabury are like nine deep. Starters are all between 6'0-6'5. Palmer and King work really well together. King is a pure shooter with great range, can dunk, and has a great mid-range shot, too. Only a junior and coconut wireless says he's already getting looks from colleges. Palmer has some of the best moves in MIL, DI or DII, is an excellent rebounder and a smart player. Looking at playing D3 ball next year. If a team can shut those two down, they still have Wiseman, Pagano, and Jacob to contend with -- all great shooters. True that they haven't had as challenging a schedule as St. Joe's but having seen both teams play, I'd say Seabury has greater raw talent, St. Joe's more intensity and experience. If Seabury can meet SJ's intensity, it would be an awesome game. Personally, I'd love to seem them both in the final! No disrepect intended to Roosevelt or the other teams who have qualified so far. Everyone deserves to be there!

    @Roosevelt Coach,
    Great job the other night - seen it on OC16, great comeback, both teams played very well. Looks like you will face Kailua tomorrow night, and with the 2 wins in regular season and the comeback last Saturday, seems like you got them mapped out with the game plan.
    Good luck Thursday night, and congradulations on securing a spot in the States.

    Thanks QuietCoach. Kailua did beat us once on the season though. I know that OC16 kept saying that we swept them, but they beat us on the final day of the season. Should be another exciting game.

    Both of those teams are the best the OIA has to offer this year. Roosevelt has been tough all year and Kailua is peaking at the right time. Should be a great final tomorrow since both teams have regular season wins on the others home court, the final at a neutral site should settle it.
