HORRIBLE ATTITUDES AND NEEDS A SERIOUS REALITY CHECK
CANT EXPECT TO GO FAR WHEN YOU HAVE GIRLS ON THE TEAM WHO ROLL THEIR EYES AND TALK BAD ABOUT THEIR COACHES BEHIND THEIR BACKS. tHE POST GIRL WITH THE DYED HAIR NEEDS TO RUN AND HUSTLE MORE TO HELP HER TEAM.sHE HARDLY EVEN GOES IN SO WHEN SHE DOES, SHE NEEDS TO PICK IT UP A BIT AND NOT JUST BE A WEIGHT HOLDING HER TEAM BACK AND PULLING THEM DOWN. gOOD EFFORT BUT NEEDS MORE INTENSITY.

Needs a coaching change....the program has been steadily dropping....the girls don't like the coach is nothing new...it's been that way for years....the programs needs to make it fun again to play basketball.....he doesn't run....he only wants to pound it inside....punahou has dominated for years...what do they do? run,full court pressure.............run,run,run...fun,fun,fun....they got the talent to do it!!
It's unfortunate because this team has been together for years (P&R..etc) but watching these girls it seems the attitude stems from the coaching. several of their coaches throughout the years have raised a few eyebrows among the fans as well as the Refs, even if it is only an outside league or BIIFs. Then the merge of Kam girls with Kona girls was very unusual (for tourneys and outside league plays). Kam finally got the taste of winning (ALL of the help from Kona) then the attitude became very noticeable. Unfortunately, the school and the coaching/athletic program apparently allows this. Haven't they been the topic on this blog several times and its not about bashing them its just merely observing the court and bench.
Anyone who says they should do anything other than pound it in to that big girl is an idiot...Same with Kau...If i were either Kau or Kam's coach my big girl(s) would touch the ball every possession....

Actually I might have been wrong..lol..maybe they are talking about them..If they are talking about O'ahu then i retract my statement...lol...
abc123 - i think partially the reason for the girlz and there bad attitudes reflects the parents first then the coaches. Sad.... Maybe the girlz dont want it bad enough? or not willing to put there differences aside and play the game not the coach or each other. i dont know just wondering....
kooltoo - i guess my hunch is correct, maybe a new coach is in order! You would think Kamehameha A.D. would see this as a problem. Has it been the same since Agena left? i noticed they never won an ILH since 2002 they are either in a long dry spell or something is wrong with the program. Hopefully they resolve this problem immediately.
i'm sure the a.d. can see the program going down. and you're right when u said "since agena left" my guess is they are grooming nani to take over. we'll see............
Lets hope so kooltoo.... it sounds they are in need of some needed kokua there.
