I just wanted to comment that most of your posts are ridiculous! Check out this link: http://hawaiipreps.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/20090421/SPORTS03/904210345/1042&template=PrepSports

Team Aloha went 2-2 (1 game was a scrimmage)

Your girl Galderia led scoring once. And in the game she only scored 12. In the other 4 games, I heard she didn't even score double digits.

This years tourney wasn't that strong. And you are saying she is better than Kuehu? Give me a break.

Kuehu led scoring every game, usually scoring over 20 points. Her Team Aloha team won the title over the California Storm, a legit Club Team.

I talked to several assistant coaches in teh PAC-10 and West Coast Conference. The most impressive player from Team Aloha was Imai and Adolpho.

Most coaches didn't even know who your girl Galdeira was. Let me guess, Molokai attracts more bball spectators than the Big Island? Is that your excuse.

Your arguments are flawed, and honestly silly. Try creating an argument that you can back up with any sort of evidence other than, "well it's my opinion, here is what I think....."

    Can you do that?

dude just tell it like it is. an srgument can be made that kuehu was the main reason why there is even a team aloha. mufi was running his jamboree for years before the team aloha concept. yet after kuehu goes off in the nike nationals, national tournaments are contacting her coaches cuz they want to see her play. they contact taylor, agena, etc. they all want her to participate in their tournaments.

so, mufi makes a team called team aloha. and the creation of the team coincides right after kuehu goes off and everyone starts calling. that is more than coincidence in my opinion.

i know that this team was for gender equity. but since kuehu was so good, that put hawaii on the map where a team like this could even be created.

so kbaby, how u like me now? u think mainland tourneys gonna call awa, agena, or mufi so galderia can play in their nike tournaments?

Well, thats great that Kuehu paved the way for these girls on the national stage. We all should thank her for that.

Congrats to this years Team Aloha. They went 3-2 against pretty good(not great) competition. I believe they lost to the Spokane stars(eventual winners of the tournament by more than 20) blue by 4 points. Their two losses were by a combined 6 points, one loss at the buzzer.

Hopefully, the exposure that they receive will help some of these girls go to college to play ball.

    Great job Team Aloha

Great posts all. One thing to remember is that this is a girl that might come on here so make sure you dont slam her. You have all done a great job so far but there have been a couple that are close. I only say this because I went through this when I was defending Herring over a year ago. Like I said, you have all been great but dont let these guys that dont know basketball piss you off to the point that you slam the girl that is not saying anything. We all know she is going to be good, but not at the level that some on here think. Remember, it is not her fault that some clueless people are on here talking about her.

Hey BBALL, I totally agree with you, but it seems that many Big Island/Konawaena supporters need to get out of their bubble and opens their eyes.

The mere fact that you would compare the two is insane! It kind of makes me feel that a "certain" poster from the Big Island has taken an alter-ego and calling himself kbaby11.

The only way Galdeira beats Kuehu is if Kuehu is playing in a wheelchair (hope that isn't politically incorrect), on crutches, or has the bubonic plague.
