Does lossing to Moanalua this past week affect Lishman's chances for the OIA player of the year? Now that his team might open the state post season against Iolani, how does the future(in terms of winning
a state championship) look for one of the state's most talented players?

my answers are no, and it's gonna be a hell of a battle...

He should still win the POY.

I don't think one game they lost in which Lishman had a double-double (16 pts. / 10 Reb.), should erase what the kid had done all year long. Steinhoff's far from out of the race after losing the ILH championship. Agree with the long road or up hill climb for Kalaheo in the states, but not impossible. Lishman deserves the OIA POY for his season, can't think of anyone else. S. Austin? No OIA championship either. We will just have to wait and see who the voters will choose. My vote Lishman.

I also would like to see Lishman win it, but Scott Burns from Mililani will get some consideration as well.

I wish everyone understood how it works. Votes are already in and the West and East have separate POY's. The OIA does not have an overall all-league process.
