Last time I saw Micah play he was center at Honokaa. He had limited ball handling and hearing he has point guard potential at the next level suprised me. He must have improved light years from his Honokaa playing days. He is now a star

Well I too have heard these things about Dunhour being a point guard but whoever is saying that cant be being entirely honest. After watching him play several times this summer league and this past year, I can 100 percent tell you that he is no point guard. He has enough handles to get by but when pressured is turnover prone, or will give it up. I truly do not believe that many D2 players can be considered stars, although i'm sure there are some exceptions that I personally may not know about. Now this may seem all negative but I don't mean for it to be. Dunhour is definitely a solid player and could help a team. He has a decent shot and his length is a good asset.

Now to the original question on this post, I would take Dunhour last, King second, and Monroe first, but just by a hair. I think that while Monroe is probably the better athlete, I think King could be a better system player so it depends what type of player you are looking for. They both can get really hot and light the court up from three point range. Both can get to the basket well and finish above or around the rim, though I would say Monroe is better at that. Defensively I think they are both around the same, just that Monroe is a better athlete (though King is a good athlete as well).

All 3 are good players. It's not fair to compare them. This is what causes problems and hurt feelings. I do believe that there are some good D2 players this year and there were some good ones last year. Can't blame the kid because his school is in D2. I think both of those 2 D2 players mentioned would be very good D1 players. Good luck to both of them on the season and good luck to Monroe in college.

It would be very hard to compare these three athletes. King and Dunhour would have no problem competing in D1. If this were a perfect world I would have Dunhour play the (2), king at the (3) and Monroe at the (4). All three can step back and drain the three and also finish at the rim. What I like about Dunhour is his mid-range game, I dont see that in between game to often at this level. King had some montrous dunks in the state tournament against AOP but Dunhour out scored him and had a better all around game. Monroe is also great, the scary part is he probably still has alot growing to do. Scary if he get bigger and stronger. So if King transfers to AOP, he is already playing with Hawaii Select and Monroe receives a academic scholarship from AOP, Punahou, Iolani and Kamehameha better watch out, they will be another big kid on the block.

Johnnyboy-Dunhours height automatically makes him the center of Honokaa. If he was still there he would be the "center" of attention. Played against him in a open league game and he lit us up, inside, outside, upside down. And this was against some ex college players.

BTW-just kidding about these three playing together. This site would crash if that were to happen!

I like King because he is the best catch and shoot of this group, he has all the talent, he is just to skinny. if he can beef up,uh-oh...and i like dunhour beacuse he just has a knack for scoring. he is somewhat unorthodox as a player, but he has nice midrange. i like monroe because he is physically more prepared than dunhour and king, although they are all great athletes. and i can assure you that neither king nor monroe will tranfer to AOP.

King is the best overall not including Monroe since he has graduated. Smooth in transition and a good shooter with undetected hops (can't tell he is jumping until you see his hands over the rim). Micah came to Oahu unheralded but has gotten better playing in the ILH. His long range shooting has gotten significantly better but needs work on consistency with his set-up. His footwork has also improved and if he continues to do so, he could possibly play a 3 position in college. Micah has the advantage over King in two areas: inside post and Coach Agena's clinic.

Good luck to both! Good luck in College Marcus!
