Did they post the all-stars for the OIA in the paper yet. I got sent the info but didn't want to talk about it until it was posted. Couple of surprises in there in both the red and the white.

No, they haven't! But I'm dying to know! hahaha
I wonder what the surprises are.

They are not major surprises, just a couple that might have some on here talking. Hopefully they will come out soon. I don't want my AD mad at me for posting them before he gives it to the paper.

Ah, gotta keep the boss happy.
Question: For the White teams, is there an all star team for the West and East? Or is it just the combined White?
I know last year they had the MVP for both the East and West, but I don't remember about the teams.

No, this year they went with just 1 all-star team for the white.

Come on I played my best games against the east in in the oia playoffs kahuku 24 points 16 rebounds farrington 15 points 13 rebounds moanalua 15 points 11 rebounds that's oia player of the year stats who else put up those numbers with 4.3 assist a game no body not even in states but don't matter had my year and I did my job

I think one of the most important stats which are sometimes more important than points and rebounds are wins and losses.
And, sometimes stats are not very accurate.
Case in point, say Player A scores 20 points and grabs 8 rebounds, and Player B scores 25 points and grabs 12 rebounds.
But, Player's A teams wins by 25 and only plays 20 minutes since the game was never in question. But, Player B plays 30 mins to pad his stats.
Now if you look purely at the game stats, then Player B has the better stats.
But, Player A wins the game, plays less minutes since the game is a blowout, and Player B only has higher stats since he played more minutes due to a coaching decision.
Stats are important, but often they don't tell the entire story.
In the end, it's about who wins the ball game. Would you rather have 15/8 and a win, or 20/10 and a loss?
