Mililani beat Campbell in both meetings this season, They also beat Leilehua by 20 thier first meeting. The only reason leilehua even got close the second game is because of stalling and mililani didnt have key players. Miliani got up by 20 on Kahuku, something that Moanalua could never do. The only reason kahuku made it respectable was because Griffin went out injured the whole 4th and the miliani coaches stopped running. So it goes both way HF

Moanalua starting five is solid. Their bench which is deep doesn't skip a beat. Players like Williams, Amaral, Ko, Villerosa (I think that is his name) are strong off the bench. Kauhola, Monroe and Racoma have been together for four years, last year did not make states. Good coaching, ball movement, unselfish play. This team is deep. Kahuku, Kaimuki and Kalaheo had their star player, but not much help or depth. For Moanalua to field a team like this is amazing versus the recruiting efforts of the ILH.

Kahuku beat Moanalua once this season and Kalaheo kept it close in their second game. Moanalua has ripped the West. Leilehua was outclassed. Leilehua missed a bunch of free throws in the first half, cannot do that to Moanalua. Campbell was down by close to 30 at the half to Moanalua. The West stands no chance against Moanalua.

I think it will be a good game but Mililani is going to pull it out. Moanalua can pick how they want it to happen, Hassan Richardson down low or RJ Griffin up top.

the question is can Mililani stop Moanalua? Griffin and Richardson are good, but haven't played anyone near the talent level of Moanalua. Mililani will need more than two people to beat Moanalua. I know that Mililani is athletic enough, but can they handle the waves of pressure that Moanalua will throw at them. Will remain to be seen. If Moanalua goes up 10 or more early its over. Too much depth and speed.

What everyone fails to realize is that Mililani is deep too. they have 4-5 SOLID players coming off the bench each capable of having breakout games. Also Mililani has 7 seniors that have played together on the same squad for 4 years. Griffin has played talent that far exceeds marcus monroe since he has been invited top college recruiting camps for every summer the past 4 years, hes played against All-stars in the truest sense of the word. I would say the opposite, Moanaloa hasnt played anyones near the tlent level of mililani.

The West so far Leilehua and Campbell have gotten dirty lickings from Moanalua, Mililani is next. The West has some good athletes but no discipline, do not know how to win.

@StL, are you really from St. Louis or just posing as someone from there. How is it that you know so much about the OIA and don't even know much about your own alma mater? Also chill out on Mr. Tirade, he's still in school, you don't have to always one up him or try to make him look silly.

To be honest it's their starting five that's beastly good on moanalua but the bench really that good as people be saying it is amaral is good but yeah to beat moanalua is as soon as u shoot the ball get ur ass back on defense don't even bother trying to get the offensive reboun. It's not worth it I was just fortunate with 15 boards if u box out when ur on defense and if you sprint back on transition defense u got chance and don't turnover the ball

Im glad 2 see you all pay attention to games but the last game i reffed between the two over the summer league mililani won by around 15 though marcus did fine the guards for mililani ate them alive and they got the win without there main center richardson because griffin overwhelms teams when his shot is on so i think the game is up in the air between the both but ill be there to watch.

I don't think Moanalua's bigs are as good as Mililani's, but I don't think R.J. Griffin is better than Marcus Monroe, I don't think Mililani's guards are better than Moanalua's, I don't think Mililani's Coach is smarter than Coach Tacon, but do I think they can win? Sure. This game will come down to mistakes and key players making plays at certain points in the game. If Mililani can withstand the pressure they have a shot. If Moanalua can rebound and defend the post they have a shot. Should be an exciting game between 2 great teams. We shouldn't be threading about who's better right now, because both teams are in the State Tournament with a shot to be State Champs. Now if either team can uphold their momentum going into States and knock off the big three in the ILH than we should talk about that. I would really love to see either Moanalua or Mililani win a State title.
