Without the help of Wes, Barry or Pacheco.
Now maybe Pahoa will get the respect they earned by beating some very good D1 teams in the BIIF.
On paper some teams look better than others, but the game is not played on paper, any team can beat any other team on any given night.
No hard feelings toward Roosevelt but the better team won that night.
    Congratulations Daggers!
    Play on.

I knew Pahoa had a big advantage with Ekau and Byrd...I really hope they go all the way and win it all now...

Just wish St. Joe's could have met them in the finals... :( ....

Great job Pahoa! Delbert Pacheco and Randy Hayes must be proud!

@bradah Who were the refs and what league were they from?

Be careful of praising Pahoa too early. We may have a few people who are waiting to pounce on us Big Islanders. In any case it's an awesome accomplishment to get to where they are at!

Delbert Pacheco, Randy Hayes, Richard Okamura, Jacob Hanohano, Ross Iwata, all the Kamau brothers and all the GANIR brothers too.

I was at the game...Pahoa has a really good shot at taking it tomorrow if they play like they did today.....Byrd shot really well and so did Ekau...If Kailua has an off shooting night watch out...

    GO PAHOA!!!!

John was the youngest of the Ganirs. They all played guard. They had to go up against the Tomas brothers from Hilo. Talk about Filipio's in da house!!!! He and Richard Okamura could run and shoot with the best of the city teams. And our alumni games were awesome too!

Congrats to Pahoa. At least we lost to the state champs. Now I don't feel as bad. They played a great tourney. Very big shots by that freshman and another solid game by Ekau. Once again, congrats on a good season.
