Punahou 76, MPI 58. It was actually a close game until the middle of the 3rd.

Crabb went off tonight. Had to have about 25 points. Did it from everywhere on the floor, and was a good thing too because Buckner and Johnson didn't do much tonight. Cassiday played another great game and so did Duncan and Feldman. Tied at halftime 31-31. Swanson did a great job against Buckner I must say. But what really impressed me was Buckner's ability to bounce back in the second half, realize that he was being defended well and double teamed, and make great passes to his teammates for assists. Thats what makes him so good.
Puns ridiculous depth and their press helped them easily pull away in the second half. MPI hit alot of shots and played a great game, especially in terms of keeping Malik and Deforest quiet. Unfortunately for them, Puns have talent at every position and a few of them seem to step up each game no matter what.
Kono and Matthews also played excellent for Mid Pac. Thought they could win it at halftime.

Can't believe mid-pac was considered a title contending team....coach hu needs to really pick things up!!!!
