Does anyone know the girls team Hawaii Central Hoops that is also competing in the Main Event? Was just wondering which club that was.

[@808east: Not confirmed, but I've heard they are out of Wahiawa/Leilehua - HH]

Good day 2Dhoop and Shaka. My son and I have been reading these blogs for awhile now and I have never had the urge to post a comment till now. My son really enjoys these blogs, as do I. He can spend hours waiting for posts, then reading them, then running over to fill me in. Your personalities are all great and seem genuine. We are very very curious to find out about that Las Vegas article featuring Kainoa Gaddis and the comments that where made. Your quote "interesting and true" have been on both my son's mind as well as my mind through out the intire day. Could you please be so kind as to share this info with us as well? Thank you.

Howzit Punahou-Pride and son. Yes, I agree that this site is great! Not only the new knowledge that I get daily from all of the Bloggers information shared, but I love the chitt chatt thrown back and forth, somtimes good, somtimes bad, but all in all I have gotten to know that it is so very easy to take things personal or the wrong way through text messaging. So, I just take things for what they are worth and enjoy the hospitality like they (the bloggers) are my good friends and not get to serious about some of the comments made, please explain that to your son. Kainoa's article had nothing to do with Punahou other than the fact that he attends Punahou School, there was nothing negative. The article was about him playing on two teams (Ali'i and Sharks) and playing in two tournaments in Las Vegas (Nike and Reebok) and it was a good article because of the fact that Kainoa is a localboy from Hawaii, isn't that just great! Anyway, try this Article Link Aloha my new friend.

Good job 2D, I am also a huge Punahou fan and really appreciate your last post. Thanks for sharing that Gaddis article and making things clearer for all of our younger (sons and daughters) bloggers involved. You also talk too much, nah just joking! See ya!

Very interesting article... I don't know but something just seems odd about this article. I'm not saying Gaddis turned on his teammates but the article gives off a weird vibe. Anyone else feel this way? Comments?

Whats up all you crazy bastards. I think that the article was a good one but I get the feeling that he wont have many friends after this article from the Sharks team. But it seems as though he doesnt really care about them but more the other team that he was with. AND I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THE SHARKS WOULD PLAY LIKE THAT! he he he Didnt we already have a conversation regaring them. Good for Gaddis to notice and good to see that the paper out there noticed as well. Hey Jones, you a millionaire yet? I need a loan.

Kainoa Gaddis, going to be a senior at Punahou, been watching/playing those L.V. tournaments for 6 years, maybe his last year playing in L.V., wanted to do well, knows it takes teamwork, got teamwork from one team, didn't get it from the other team, got alittle frustrated, needed to vent, let the truth be heard! My man!

Howzit BB69 and Swish (such a cool name), Good point both of you! He mentioned that with the Sharks, he was rebounding and setting up screens/picks, which makes me feel that Kainoa knew his roll on the team. He wasn't saying "pass me the ball" or "they didn't pass me the ball". Which makes me feel that teamwork did go out the window (maybe because of scouts, maybe because of discipline, maybe because of coaching, I don't know) which could lead to frustration, then ventilation. Lucky for him that his Ali'i Team didn't make the same mistake. That was the impression I felt after reading that article twice.

Sup 69...good to hear from you again. As for me becoming a millionair, it quite hasn't happened yet. I'm still short about $980,000 short of it, but you'll be the first to know if I ever get there!

As for the article, I thought that Kainoa Gaddis showed a lot of maturity and spoke exactly what he wanted to say...good job on his part! Its tough to find players like such as this nowadays...
