So i know they are undefeated, but my boy who saw them play in preseason said they weren't too good.
Are they a legitimate contender?

StJB~ I don't think preseason carries too much weight at this point. We have to wait and see what transpires come tomorrow afternoon. That's my humble opinion.

I was looking forward to the Waiakea game at 5pm. Sorry, us old goats tend to lose track of time. Thanks

i heard they didnt do so well preseason either, losing to kam-HI on a buzzer beater. but, oldG is right, that was a long time ago. with their limited game schedule, they probably had lots of time in between games to fine tune things.

@Kainoa808
I watched that game and i must say that Seabury has a giant line-up. The point guard was about 6'2"! And also that Dylan King is a great player and can shoot for his type of game. It was a hard luck loss but i would have to agree with OldG cuz that was then, and this is now. Seabury will be in the final four but can they edge it out against St Joe or Roosevelt?

Seabury is a very nice team, nice hieght and well coached. They run a bunch of offensive sets and are good on defense as well. St Joe will potentially have the same problems as they did against HPA. I just think the lack of competition in the MIL will hurt Seabury, while tough league play in the BIIF can only benefit the Cardinalds. In any case, it should be a great Div 2 field.

i think their weak schedule is gonna come back to bite them....

They just gotta play the game! The girls champ came from the MIL and everyone taught they had no competition but they played the game and won it all!!

I was on Maui last month and was able to see a game. Looked pretty good. The team played very clean and smooth. They were winning by a fair amount and the coach put the second team in, they were a little off. Right away the first team came back and went off, big dunk by some kid. They looked like a fair and honest team.
