Haha. I saw Tautofi playing volleyball the other day for Kaimuki and he's pretty damn good. Is there anything he's not beast at?

Maybe the uneven bars? Pommel Horse? Hehehe...

For how big he is and how skilled he is, he should be way more dominant. What you think Jones?

Howzit Kona!
I have seen him play quite a few times this year and I always come away impressed. He has very, very soft hands for a person his size. Also have very good feet as well.
I don't know how much more dominant he could become as I didn't see anyone really stop him this year. I thought his conditioning was above average since he would play a ton of minutes.

This sounds like a set up for Shaka's hilarious sense of humor! I'm suprised he hasn't ripped this topic to shredds yet.

Kona get your facts before u start chirping
Tautofi posted beast-like statistics in states, 19 points and 14 boards against Kamehameha, and 18 and 19 against Iolani, how much more can you ask???

What about the back to back 7 point games in the final two games against Kahuku before states? Who knows, if Kaimuki wins the OIA, Kaimuki could be the state title winner.
I will agree that on certain nights, Tautofi goes for high double-doubles. But there are other nights where he takes plays off and goes for only single digits.
For his skill set, and the amount of shooters around him, he should be averaging 18 points and 12 rebounds in my opinion.

he is a beast no matter what
i really do think if kaimuki won the oia, they would have been state champs..but shoulda coulda wouldahow do you think kaimuki will be next year with alot of seniors leaving

The Bulldogs do lose some key seniors, including Kakitani and Taulung, but they return Steitzel and Tautofi. Coach Kelly Grant is a whiz as far as turning out quality teams.
If Nainoa Hiapo-Asui comes out next year, which I fully expect him to do so, they will be once again a force to be reckoned with in the OIA as well as the state.

Didnt Stietzel and Hiapo play with each other when they were younger?
howcome Hiapo hasnt been playing?

Steitzel and Hiapo were both at University Lab together. Its anyones guess why Nainoa hasn't been playing. I have talked to his mom on many occassions about that and it seems that he just didn't want to play.
He is playing baseball right now.
