Any predictions? Kam played them close a few times and won one of them on a last second tip. Should be a good game, however Kam has a lot of ground to make up to make the playoffs and can't afford to lose...or is this the game they throw in the towel for the season?

I hope Kamehameha doesn't throw in the towel and I don't think they will. Too much competitive players and coaches.

As for the game I can't pick a winner. But I can tell you Kamehameha better come with their A+ game because St. Joe plays the game with discipline and passion. I feel they are the most balanced team right now. They have a solid PG in Will, deadly shooters in Sebi and Jacob, and a force in Thomas. And their bench players are doing a pretty good job. O yea and they also have a coaching staff that is doing a fine job.

Kamehameha has played well in all their games for about 3 quarters. If they are able to put a whole game together, this will be a very close and exciting game.

Good points, if Kamehameha could close games a little better they could possibly have a winning record. However I think a lot of it has to do with coaching and lack of discipline when the game is on the line.

IE: Last night, Kam was reeling, and Hilo just got the lead and Cabatu came in and took 2 "Dirk-Fade Aways" with two guys in his face, instead of taking their time and getting a good look...Kam was also lost on defense in the 4th. It looked like they were trying to play some sort of match up zone, but gave up 3 un-contested layups like that. Stuff like that, if they could fix it would be a different season for them in my opinion.

Hahaha, good guess, I wish I was still playing high school ball, if my high school team was playing now we would easily win BIIFs, if not states...

Last week I saw people saying Scanlan-Laite was bibbyboi, rmdwn31 was dominic pacheco, then dominic pacheco transformed into DickyV, hoopfanatic is greg tacon from moanalua, BIGFan is Kalani Silva too right? haha...the list just goes on and on..along with the silly guesses...lets leave it at basketball guys...

Should be a good game. Kam played St Joe twice and it went in overtime both times at the civic. But now they will play them at Kam. Should be down to the wire

...Kam hasn't learned how to master the 4th quarter.. It doesn't matter how you start, but rather how you finish.. If Kam wants to make it this year they gotta learn to "finish strong"... The coach gotta have a master plan for the 4th quarter.. Losing cannot be an option any more- that kind of mind set.. If Kam can master the 4th quater--they'll win by 5.

    ..just a thought..

Great points. I don't think Kam has to even master the 4th quarter, but just play slightly better ending games, IE: shot selection, free throws, taking care of the ball..etc. If they can do those things just a little bit better they will be in the playoff race for sure. There is still a lot of season left and they got a lot of talent..in the wild BIIF this year any team can beat anyone on any given night.

It'll be interesting to see if Kam can bounce back from their 1-5 game defecit. if Kam can keep the score close in the first half, and come out strong in the second half of the game, st joe will be hard pressed to beat them. I've seen saint joe blow a couple of big leads before

    This will be interesting game!
i can see Jayce taking the ball and being big on court!double double!Attacking the basket is the main key for them to become successful and to win!i see potencial in these players!
St Joe on the other hand has poor sportsmanship and they should check that. Jacob the point shooter for st.joe is okay but, could use improvement on a big part by the passing the ball to people who are open.St.Joe has to watch out because Kam is ready for them and they are going to attack the basket!

I think Kamehameha boys have a great chance in winning, if only their coach would be a little more supportive of the team.
more coaching and less yelling please

I think Kam can pull it out it's gonna be a tough one because with st. joe it's just another 8 on 5 game because of the 3 blind mice all for st . joe.

As for what i've observed during the games, as soon as one of the players make a mistake...they get taken out. It's like a let down for the kids!

Kam get chance if others step up and if they can finish without gassing out. They need to use there bench players, everyone has a role on the team, if not they woulld have not made the team. IMO.

@skitso, how deep should they go?

I'm not sure what you guys are looking at but St. Joe's has improved since the last time they played Kamehameha, Kamehameha has arguably declined...So how can so many of you choose Kam over St. Joe??

And Colt69 why do you say St. Joe's has poor sportsmanship?

@ Socates, they should go as deep as possible given the game situation. For the game against St. Joe they must contain Anjrade. If they can do that, they have a good chance. Good luck, I hope Kam wins to make the D-1 interesting.

Kam has quite a defecit (1-5) to overcome, but they might still be in it. In the east side, most games can go either way. Keaau beats St joe, hilo beats keaau, waiakea beats hilo. Every team is still in this and on any given night, games can go either way.

Agreed, A 1-5 defecit is pretty hard to overcome. Kam has to be at their A Game from start to finish to pull off a win against st.joseph.

This week will tell the story for kam, If they can pass this week they might have a chance, If they cannot pass this week they have no chance to make play-off's and good luck next year!.

And yes most east side D1 teams can go either way. There's no team more dominating then the next and that is why when these teams meet it's great games to watch.

Kamehameha has a HUGE CHANCE TO WIN!it comes down to the coach on how badly he wants it or not!just because they make a little mistake. Is it worth taking them out and losing?!games are away to improve and to become better as players and coaches. You see what you need to work on and then during practice you have the chance. This is going to be a BIG GAME!

Kam won by 10 points.. Andrade and Wong got ejected in the 4th quarter.. Kam sealed it on free throws.. Its there first win to really good competition. We see if it helps them aganist their next opponent
