Milika Taufa is only 5'11, how they come up with 6'3 and 6'0 i don't know....last year tournament they listed her as a senior

She may be 5'11" but she plays 6'3".
So, do we know if she has signed anywhere yet? How is she academically? It would be nice to keep her home here at UH-- she's good enough.

heard from a friend of a friend, that the Taufa girl got some D1 offer from the east coast, she will be visiting some of the university next month to decide, UH didn't recruit??? wish her luck, if she does well in the east coast....shame on UH

UH is slowly moving toward an uptempo game. If you look at the players they have been going after this past year, it's more athletic girls who can run.
You have to remember, all of the returnees on the Wahine were brought in by Bolla except Kuehu and Ayabe.
Adolpho seems more likely to run. Taufa seems more appropriate for a team who wants to pound it inside and slow the game down.

well good for UH to recruit athletic to run down the court but just make sure they run and put the ball in the basket

what ever hf...UH will come out strong next year if not will probably hear from u,lol
as for Taufa girl she will play forward in college she is too short for center (5'11) so she will run and move more than she has during her high school year

Island Fever, what in the world are you talking about?
Posted 2 years ago # -
HF,I think islandfever is saying that the Taufa girl will not do well in college as a player?

hey hoopfan, speak for yourself,I did not post that she will not do well.HATERZZZZ

@ islandfever, why are you telling me whatever? What do you disagree with?
I said UH is moving towards an uptempo game. Coach Dias has said this in her keynote address and on the news many times.
I said UH is trying to recruit more athletic girls who can run. They secured Sydney Haydel, who Coach Dias said, "Sydney’s versatility and athleticism is evident in the fact that she is a multi-sport athlete at Harvard-Westlake,” said Takahara-Dias. “She’s a starting forward for her high school team. She also runs on the relay team, while competing in the hurdles and shot put on the track and field team. She is the second player on our team from the prestigious California Storm Team Taurasi summer team (which ranks fourth nationally), along with Shawna Kuehu. Her athleticism will provide an immediate impact that will help the program.”
Then I said Adolpho seems more likely to run while Taufa seems more situated for a slow down half court game.
So once again, what don't you agree with since you are saying, "whatever HF?"
