Team Taurasi played their first game @ the Boo Williams Spring Tournament in Virginia. Team Taurasi beat Georgia Elite by about 5 points.
They will play again tomorrow morning against Indiana Family. I was told Viela did pretty well today. While she didn't start, she got minutes at PG. She took care of the ball and hit a couple of shots.
In the 2nd half she turned over the ball a little bit, but did well playing in such a high caliber tournament.

Team Taurasi beat Indiana Family by 2 points today.
On a sidenote, Awa who plays for Storm Elite beat BWSL Diamond by 16 yesterday. However, Awa is playing with Team Aloha this week instead.
Team Taurasi lost to Boo Williams tonight in the quarters. I believe they lost by over 10 points, probably around 14-15.

With 2 courts side by side coach Quintero coached both team taurasi and 15&under from the middle of courts. Maiki was on the far side of court practicing with the 2nd team while dawnyell's 15&under team scrimmage team taurasi's first team in a coach breakdown format. During the 1hr,the 15&under outplayed team taurasi. I was looking forward to watching both girls in action but got side track in listening and watching coach Quintero. Learn a couple of stuffs that was the opposite of what I was taught.... And in general it made sense. To all future girls who get a chance to play for coach Quintero you better be mentally tough if not....... Stay home!!!
