Dis is the dumbest thread in the world. What purpose does it serve? We are all using private kine usernames and the TS wants people to identify coaches for this? Irresponsible if you ask me.

Hey TS, you are starting one thread that wants to insult people....serious kine?

The coaches at Kalaheo are stand up guys. Responsible family men, raised great children. They have great wives. This is a stupid thread, get a life!

Even if people didn't like a certain coach ETD, don't you think it's kind of cowardly to insult someone online behind a fake name?

Dumb thread...shouldn't insult anyone...if anything the topic should be "hottest coaches in the state" at least it will be a complement

The intention wasn't to insult anybody...It was to express humor to coaches that sometimes take themselves too seriously...Take the fun out of the game for the kids...

Compliments go to all of our coaches who sacrifice their time for the betterment of our kids in Hawaii...That does not ignore the fact that some of them is fugly...Just joking...lighten up everyone!!

Before I even opened the thread I was cracking up because I actually started to think in my head who would be on that list. I will not post a list. Instead, I will tell these coaches personally that they made my list. Its a good thing I count these guys as friends of mine...hahahahaha!

I have to agree Hoop, Coach Mello is the John Stamos of Hawaii. He would have to beat me out then. I guess when we were sitting together at the Moanalua tourney, I was uncle Joey and he was uncle Jesse. Hey, chicks like a funny guy.

Howzit R-Coach, does that make me Danny? You know I don't really enjoy cleaning.....haha...

Keep up the great work you are doing at Roosevelt!

BTW, is Kaipo Pale Junior Pale's son and Lilo Pale's brother?

Yeah that is his family. I always forget names. I know that his uncle played football in the pros or something and that his brother is Lilo. Thanks for the comments about the team. Good luck with the rest of the season for you guys. The team to beat in the OIA in my eyes.
And no he is not Coach Tacon before anyone says that. I have met hoopfanatic and once again, he is NOT Coach Tacon.

RC, I coached Lilo when he was 4 years old playing baseball, boy could he hit.

His uncle was Peter Pale. Peter played for UH, and I believe made it until last cuts with the Philadelphia Eagles.

His father Sililo (sp??) "Junior" Pale was an unbelievable LB for Pac-5. I still feel he would have gotten to a major D1 football program if his knees didn't hamper him.

I think he may have been on the '82 Pac-5 team that won the Prep Bowl with Joe Onosai, Selitto, and Salevaa Atisanoe (sp??).

Long time hoopsP? How is school going? Yeah its a whole new staff since Maryknoll. Travis is great. He brings a lot with him that he learned from Mr. Won. we are doing alright right now. Long season to go and we are not even close to where I want them but are getting better each game. Just need to be at the top of our game at the end of the season not now. Next time you come back get in touch and I will open the gym up for us all to play.
