    Hi guys & kalei96720, the Trib will run the 2010 All-BIIF boys basketball teams in tomorrow's (Thursday's) Trib. It's been awhile, but it all comes down to space availability and other stuff happening. The last two to three weeks have been filled with a bunch of other things.

    The two-page spread includes color photos of the players of the year, coaches of the year and 14 of the 15 players to make either the East first or second team and the West's first team. One of the player's action photo was not available.

    Overall, I believe it's pretty good ... but everyone has their own opinion and we will see what impact it has. Like I said before, this is the BIIF's official all-star team and now we're all waiting the all-state team by the Advertiser and the Fab 15 by the Star-Bulletin.

    Hawaii Sports Page had its Elite 18 ... and rumor has it that Luna86 will name an "All-BIIF Top 86" while bibbyboi will pick an All-BIIF team with only St. Joseph players. Of course, Shaka6 will respond with an All-BIIF team with only Waiakea players. (lol).

    Hoops, you gotta love it.

    ...wow.. Bill did a super job.. really nice.. well-written and fairly written--giving "air time" to the players reflective of their all-star standings.. definitly makes up for last year and outshines the other sports writeups (soccer)..

    ...great way to cap the season--i had fun.. thanks for the blog folks...

    ..just a last thought for 2010..

    Kind of disappointed that the west had one team and the east had two.I heard it's because the east had more teams.Come on the east has one more team than the west.I could see if it was like three or more.

    @Hi-Low

    Wondering why I took so long to respond? Just got back from 2 weeks vacation in Cambodia (nah only stingrays tournament in kona)...
    ...Was there for 9/10 last weekend Moanalua took champs & 11/12 this past weekend championship was between I think Kahuku & Alii's (known as moanalua) don't know who won and I think this comming weekend will be 13/14 tourney with about 18 teams and about 8-10 teams will be from oahu. I have to say enjoyed watching most competitive games, Great tournament, Job well done stingrays!

    Anyway you are absolutely right! I will respond but not with an All-BIIF Team of my own but to say saw the tribune job well done! Coaches & players got there well deserved recognition, Congrat's to all who made All-BIIF Team.

    Until next BIIF boys basketball season A Hui Hou everyone!...Will log on once in a while just to see if Hi-Low puts a post that I like respond to & Argue about nah only kidding. For now will concentrate on P&R Age leagues, tournaments & summer camps.

    @Shaka6 let the drought begin! I guess we can catch a few P&R games, the price is right. Then we can blog about tomorrow's stars.

    Could'nt even get an aim at the target (hoop) especially against kahuku they killed some teams they played by 40+ points! Just imagine the size of kahuku boys/girls high school basketball teams these players were only 11/12 age group give em 1 more year guarantee they going be that size I du no but I think it's just in the breed! But really nice/humble individuals, tall, very skilled & physical.

    Hopefully get time to go this weekend to check out the 13/14 age group teams damn should be even better at that age with alot of oahu teams & our own big island teams competing.

    @OldG
    Hopefully not too dry whea going start fire! Nah. Yep always ready to blog about the stars!
