Yes you learn but when you have the lead you dont force anything, they want to be a fast pace team but in a way it hurts them. With the players they had out there they should know when to slow everything down but they dont, besides of some calls from the ref's but waianae's five on the floor lost the game in my opinion

Everything i say about them is the truth, its just hard for them to accept. they know me that i dont sugar coat anything when they make the mistakes they make during practice or game, they will hear something out of me. My son is a player for them. He hears more from me than anyone. If im wrong im wrong i would apologize for that, i just dont like them going backwards.

I just checked the playoff bracket, so Waianae has a chance to come back and still make it to states right? Hopefully they learn from it and make some adjustments..

Yes they have a chance but if the five on the floor in the fourth will determine the outcome. If they rush like when they played kailua then we will lose thats just a fact, they just have to play smart and hit their.

What happened to Foster in that game? He is usually one of their most steady players.

Michael Foster wasnt really in his game. Way to many turnovers by him

Kailua has a coach in Tim Harrison who has won the D-II championship in 09. Also coached at Radford, which went to the state tournament. Athletic team, force inside with Jordan DePonte. Kailua will be a major contender, peaking at the right time.

KAILUA WAS READY THIS TIME TO PLAY. VERY GOOD COACHING BY COACH HARRISON LAST NIGHT. CONGRATS TO THEM ON MAKING IT BACK TO STATES.

it wasnt anything kailua did against waianae, too many turnovers, kailua at times werent even pressuring and waianae's guards just fumble with the ball. One thing they didnt make states yet.

  18. Waianae leading scorers:

    Christian Mendonza: 14
    Anthony Niederschmidt: 11
    Paaga Misipati: 9
    Jonovan Tuinei: 7
    Mike Foster: 6

    Kailua leading scorers:

Rhys Nakakura: 22 (5 Long Bombs)
    Ethan Mahaulu: 10
    Corey Lau: 9
    Jordan DeCorte: 8

Kailua did a good job finding the open shooters all game. Whenever Waianae missed a job on defense they would capitalize. Good job to Waianae though containing Jordan. Waianae should have won the game but costly turnovers and an intentional foul late cost them.

The question of the day is why they keep missing them in the fourth period. Why from what i've seen they just stood there and watched they know who the shooters are.

DeCorte, Lau, Nakakura and Mahaulu are from last years D-II championship team. This team is doing well at this time of the season (Kailua), know how to win.
