    keene aint all dat
hes to big headed..i mean he is gud but he has to mellow down..he only a freshmaen..i remember da guy frum kalaheo swated his ball on tv..keene shooting form is ugly too..he has lucky shots am i rite..but he does have nice drives..keene your a great player...a awsume player..all yhu have to do is mellow down and work on your form..you will be da best soon yhu know dat..just work on those two things and yhu will be dominant...

Can we change this thread to who's the best moanalua player on their bball team and not best player in the state he's surrounded by talent and an overall good team none of the moanalua's players doesn't make their team great it's all coaching that made them play the way they are playing. With their team they could still win without Monroe, they can win deffinitly without Keene, but choose a player that helps and makes the difference in their teams playing style, that if that player is not on that team they wouldn't have half the record they have now, just my opinion on this best player of the state should be judged on.
    I guess you can say

Wow there must be a black out in this state because the best in the state is clearly without an equal guys it's RJ Griffin no brainer sheesh. If you talk about crossovers, handles, court vision, a smooth as silk jumper, flash gordan like layups, magical assist, feather light floaters and all backed up with i hear a gpa of 4.6. So UCLA bound or USC his choice. What awards has he amasted hmmm Reserch says JV mvp JV Champs pulled up Won the OIA Varsity same season, starting Varsity gaurd, assist leader second in team scoring 1st in steals 2008-2009. Game high 42 points 2009-2010 Kobe Academy MVP,UCLA Elite Basketball Camp MVP 2008 and 2009, Hawaii 360 Life State Champ 19 yr old Div. and a ton of other individual awards. Listen this kid will make you a believer. If we are taking all around then RJ Griffin all the way. You see no love for the west but i think that will soon change.

Thats quite a list of accomplishments for Mr. Griffin. Although I must say winning a J.V. is nice but doesn't compare to winning a State Championship. I believe that Micah Christensen and Marcus Monroe are front runners for POY awards. After watching Griffin vs. Kahuku last week I was quite impressed on how fast he got on the break looking to score. Although he turned the ball over twice as much as he had assists, I think he's a decent player. Best in State, maybe top 15. The best part of the season for him is approaching and we will see if he can shine in the spotlight. Goodluck to Mililani and the Trojans in their quest for an OIA title and State Championship.

    Christenson- Best all around talent...

Monroe- Benefits from the system he plays in...

Griffin- Probably the fastest player in the game...

Akina- Throwback savviness makes him great...

Chu- Not flashy, but a pure point guard fans appreciate...

I'm a former state champ and I've learned the hard way eh that RJ Griffen is the truth. He's fast yes but he's smart as well good instincts on the court he has kobe like moves but he sets you up better than most, before he releases his j on you quick is an understatement. Listen when I tell you he gets my vote from experience RJ is still maturing but when i played him in the mens league i was very much impressed his team was good but he definately made them better. We play hard in the mens league we play for respect so here comes this skinny little punk onto our court, we disrepected them until they ran us into the ground we high fived him and his squad after a few players were pissed but only because he made asses of us all they beat us by double digits. So he get our vote he's got game don't ever dought this little guy trust me cuz you will regret it.

I agree with you magical i played this kid before and hes smooth...never really seen him play that much this year so hopefully he shows up in the game against moanalua...monroe, christenson, and chu are good but their teams still would find a way to get it done without them...griffin on the other hand is key to his team winning and other teams know that so it'll be interesting to see how he does

i'm just saying i watched him drop 6 3s in one half stopped counting his assists, he's not a hog just smart as hell believe it. boi RJ got some ammo so dont blink if the same players are with him then there are gonna be problems for all who face them. they have a tall black kid i dont know his name but he's no joke either he grab crazy boards in the game we played them they had this offense that just fed into their shooter hands it was hard to stop. Don't pressure them thats what they want. We tried bullying them but dammed cuz thats when RJ comes to life dishing slicing wew boi WRONG choice. This kid is like i said DA TRUTH. Watch em you'll see. after come back and post me.

A very underrated player is on Mililani by the names of Ryan Jacobs. This boy can flat out play. He has that killer instinct that can't be taught. I actually liken him to Lebron James, except as a junior on Mililani he hasnt been able to get alot of playing time. Anyways, Mister Jacobs has all the intangibles, including strength and speed. Kind of short at around 5'6, he possesses a deadly midrange shooting stroke, and get hit the three ball as well as anyone in the league. Mark my words, Hawaii, next year will be the Year of Ryan Jacobs. NBA Caliber talent.
