I believe that moanalua is going to be the number one seed in the state tournament. What about you guys?

Howzit Hoop Fanatic 20. I think the number one seed will be the ILH champion, whoever that would be.

If Moanalua wins out they should be the number 1 seed. If they don't one of the ILH teams will be.

Good opinion. But the question is, will moanalua win out? They play Campbell on Friday, I predict the Menes to blow the Sabres out.

I think 14 is giving Campbell too much. If Campbell decides to streetball like they do,

Yeah, watching both of these teams I think Campbell is going to have a really hard time hanging with Moanalua. They are just too talented, and deep for Campbell to handle.

Nice win Moanalua but I don't think you guys will be ranked #1 or receive the #1 seed in the state tourney. Who did you guys beat? Serious question here and not an attempt at being a wise guy. So who did you guys beat? Kaimuki? Kahuku? Kalaheo? Three of these teams in your conference all lost last night with the exception of Kalaheo of course who has already turned in their jerseys and is done for the year.
Let's go farther back to the preseason. You guys were very competitive in the Iolani Classic against the mainland teams but bottom line is, who did you guys beat? Do I have to remind you guys about the very embarrassing loss to Division 2 St. Joseph from the big island?
Sell me the idea of you guys being the #1 team because right now I don't find any justifications. I will accept the argument that you have one of the state's best coach but that's it.

Punahou, Iolani and Kamehameha battling it out week after week, Moanalua doesn't deserve the no. 1 seed.

Will someone, preferably from Moanalua, answer my question which is Who did you guys beat that would warrant Moanalua a #1 ranking and seeding?
Punahou, Kamehameha and Iolani all have beaten a team that was ranked #1 at some point in the season. They each have won preseason tournaments (Radford, Merv Lopes and Moanalua) so they are proven winners against competition outside of their league and conference.
I'm not saying that Moanalua does not have a shot of winning it all. I believe they have a nice squad with good coaches but please answer the original boggle, Who did Moanalua beat that would justify them a #1 ranking and seeding.

My opinion is based upon how the teams are currently playing, not what they've done two months ago.
1- Iolani. They play the game the way it is supposed to be played-- as a team. They get the most out of their talent and play together.
2- Moanalua. They need to play better competition to see what they're really made of. However, there is no doubt that they are talented, athletic and well-coached. They play in spurts and turn it on when they need to.
