Air Jordan III - Fire Red
If you were playing ball in the late ’80s the 3rd Edition of Nike’s Air Jordan line was either on your feet or on your wishlist. This classic sneaker, released in 1988, was the first to sport the iconic Jumpman logo as well as the visible air pocket in the heel. The leather was tumbled to give the shoe a luxury look and trimmed with gray elephant print on the toe and heel.
Originally, the shoe came out in two colorways, white and black. Since first being retroed in 1994, the Jordan III has been released in several other color combinations including a cool grey “lifestyle” version and a “flipped” model where the elephant print trim is switched out with the leather in the main area.
On March 24th, the “Fire Red” version will be released in white with red accents and a blacked-out elephant print trim on the toe and heel.
