2008 OIA Boys Basketball: Red & White Schedules

The schedules have been posted for the 2007-08 OIA Boys Red & White Division Regular Seasons. Find them by clicking the “Schedules” tab along the top bar or click here.

Interesting Notes in the OIA Red Division:
    OIA Basketball Schedule
  • Season Opener - Kaimuki vs. Kalaheo - Right off the bat, the defending state champion Kaimuki Bulldogs face off with one of the favorites in the OIA Red in Kalaheo.
  • Kalaheo Back-to-Back - Two nights after facing Kaimuki in the OIA opener, the Mustangs will take on another top Red Division contender in Moanalua, but this time at home.
  • Tough Stretch for Kailua - Playing 5 games in 9 days is difficult enough, but the Surfriders, who have the potential to make some noise in the OIA Red, will have to do it against Kaimuki, Kahuku, Kalaheo, Moanalua and cross-town rival Castle.

Interesting Notes in the OIA White Division:

  • Early Start - Nearly every team in the OIA White Division will have a game or two under their belt before the end of the year. Only defending state champion McKinley will have to hold off until 2008.
  • Big Game January 4th - One of the bigger matchups in the White Division will come early when the Farrington Governors take on the Aiea Na Alii.
  • Tough Stretch for McKinley - They may start a week later than the rest, but the Tigers are in for a tough back-to-back in mid-January when they face Aiea and Farrington a day apart on the 16th and 18th (both at home).

Very disapointing that only a preview of the ILH has been posted. Name of website should ILH Basketball not Hawaii Basketball.

    Hoop Fan,

We apologize for the lack of updates. Our time has been spent in the last few weeks gathering information from around the state to be able to put together in-depth previews of the remaining leagues. We hope to post the ILH Girls Preview by the end of the week with an OIA Boys Preview to follow.

    Thank you for reading,

NOTE: Please keep in mind that this website is a “for fun” venture. We’d love to post something daily and run it as it were a full-time job, but the 20 cents per day the site brings in just won’t pay the bills. You are, however, always free to post your thoughts and opinions in our forum… or send us a massive donation. Haha.

    Hey Peter . . .

Damien got posted or they didn’t get posted?

Your son plays a good point at Kalaheo!
